SUNWAY 2.56kWh / 5.12kWh Drop-In LiFePO4 Battery (25.6V)
Description :
The SUNWAY 25.6V LiFePO4 series offers 2.56kWh and 5.12kWh storage capacities. You choose between 100Ah and 200Ah models. The cells sit inside a compact ABS plastic case.
A built-in BMS monitors every cell constantly. It prevents unsafe operating conditions. It protects your investment.
These units weigh exactly half of standard SLA batteries. You save money on transport. Your field teams install them with less physical effort. They fit easily into diverse power setups.
Product Advantages and Features
3000+ Cycle Life
It delivers over 3,000 full charge cycles. You get five times the lifespan of standard SLA batteries. You replace units less often. It reduces your long-term replacement costs.
Half the Weight, Double Power
It weighs 50% less than a standard SLA battery. Yet it delivers twice the power output. Your installers carry it easily. Field deployment goes much faster.
Smart BMS with Bluetooth
A smart BMS protects the internal cells constantly. You get built-in Bluetooth connectivity. You read live battery data on your phone. You spot potential issues instantly.
Low Self-Discharge
The self-discharge rate is extremely low. You can warehouse these batteries for months. The capacity stays high. They sit in storage much longer than SLA units without dying.
IP65 Protection
The casing holds a strict IP65 rating. It seals out dust completely. It resists water effectively. You install it safely in tough or damp environments.
Standard M8 Terminals
It uses standard M8 terminals. You bolt heavy cables on securely. It handles high current draws safely. You connect it to your existing inverter fast.

FAQs
Q1: Can I wire these batteries in series or parallel?
Yes. You can link them together. You can wire two units in series. This gives you a 51.2V system. You can also wire units in parallel. This multiplies your total capacity. Always use new batteries from the exact same batch. Do not mix old and new units.
Q2: Is this a direct drop-in for my old SLA setup?
Yes. You pull out the heavy lead-acid battery. You drop this LiFePO4 unit in its place. The M8 terminals fit your existing cables. You do not even need to change your inverter settings. You keep the inverter in standard lead-acid mode. The internal smart BMS manages the charging process safely.
Q3: Can I charge it outdoors during winter?
You can discharge it in the cold safely. But lithium cells cannot charge below freezing. The built-in BMS knows this. It blocks the charge current automatically at 0°C. This prevents internal cell damage. Keep the battery inside an insulated box for winter charging.
